The Unsung Hero
Proclaiming My Mind For Him

Point of Difference

One thing I have always believed in strongly, even before becoming a christian, is that you should never rebuke or criticize God. I never really understood as to why up till last summer. It is true that God is in total control, so naturally wouldn’ t he make everything happen so everyone’s happy? He’s a loving God right? Which is why He makes things harder for us. If everything was given to us, why bother even trying. You pray to God for good test results, but don’t even bother studying. He will NOT make every little thing to your convience. It is by suffering that He makes us stronger. Think about it, if you go through turmoil for a short season the next time something similar occurs, at least you’ll know how to rationally react. But of course, that is not always the case. If you were to stay home and study, rather than go out with friends is an example most can relate to. By sacrificing time that could be spent with friends, gives you time to study to do well in school. If you were simply given a good test grade by God what do you get? A grade you didn’t even deserve. By suffering through events you may come across in life gives you strength to overcome other obstacles. Live and Learn. You wouldn’t trust someone if they betrayed you, would you? God will allow situations where you alone cannot face. Times like these are where you find out who your true friends are. He’ll use that problem you’re facing to see what you once could not. To see who is only using you, who doesn’t care for your problems, who would rather only hang with you when you’re in a better mood, and those who will humbly listen to what you have to say and show you how much they care for you. This seperates the true friends from those other “friends”. It is guaranteed that all people will go through suffering and struggles. Some will cope with it, while others will look for someone to blame. Many will blame God. WHO are you, to blame the Almighty, the All Powerful, the King of Kings!?!? One full of sin, to fault God for what he has done!? He will bless those for what they have done. But a person may think otherwise. If they stay loyal to God, and even through the Fury of the Storm He will save you. He will out stretch His hand to you through the Fire and the Flames. And when you finally manage to dodge all the bullets Satan has thrown at you, you will have the satisfaction of looking back see what you have accomplished. Filling you with the motivation of “if I can get through this, I can get through anything with God by my side”. He is your greatest ally, He will never forsake you. It may appear as if He has left us to burn in the hell of our decadence, but He is still there. Calling you to come back to into His arms. Alas, we often times forsake Him. We get consumed by the egocentric views of the world. Become wealthy, follow the crowd, take revenge, pride, be accepted….in the end all of these things hold no importance. Having the Good Life in this life doesn’t guarantee a set future. For we should give glory to God. The One who created us, the One who gave His only son so that we all might be saved. To live in His glory Foreverandever. To one day walk the Stairway to Heaven, and witness face to face the Holy One, our Creater, our Savior. What the Lord has offered us is so great, human being cannot even begin to imagine what Heaven would be like. To blame God for what we see as “wrong doing” is intensly superficial, self-centered, and egocentric. He has blessed every single person in one way or another, yet we only focus on the now, the hardships we are going through. To hold Him accountable for such things is instinct for humans. Me, myself, and I. Instead of blaming God, we should exalt His name and give Him the glory. For in the end, you will see Him and know it was more worth it….

  1. I like what you are saying about people blaming and cursing God. I think this is a problem emerging in our society. Nobody seems to want to accept blame anything. And the funny part is, if they would just confess forgiveness is right there for them! Of course I know that you are already aware of this, but it is the kind of thing we need to take to the rest of the world.
